J is for July is Over
Well, July is over already! Didn't that go fast?!
Yesterday was our Anniversary - we have been married for two years. We got a babysitter (one of my friends) for the first time since DD has been born and went into town for drinks and a gorgeous curry at Golden triangle.
I'm sure DD knows when something is up - she normally sleeps solidly from 7 til 6. Last Wednesday I went to a craft club in the evening and left DH on his own to look after her (after she'd gone to sleep) and she woke up - same thing happened last night. Bizarre!

Glad you got the chance to get out for your anniversary...
I think kids know when mommy leaves. Especially when they are young. My son did the same thing!
Sounds like you had a wonderful evening. It is nice to get away just for a little while.
how great u two got to go out and celebrate. lil' babies can be something else. maybe next time u leave...leave something with your scent on it(sleep with one of baby's blanket)so they can smell u. i use to do that...even went to vegas for a whole weekend...and dh gave my baby one of my bras.....lol it worked!!!
